Regenerative Agriculture & Nutrient-Dense Food with Honey’s Harvest Farm


We had great conversations at Honey's Harvest Farm discussing the connection between the health of the soil and our own health! I went on a sweet potato dig, and also had the chance to chat about misconceptions within the fitness community regarding healthy eating.

I've been getting to know more of the local producers in my region, because I truly believe that if we do not move away from "conventional", massive-scale agriculture as it is practiced today, and towards truly regenerative agriculture, we are in for some very hard times as a human species in the near future. I think that many fail to see how fragile our food system is today, how dependent it is on synthetic chemicals, and how harmful it is to our health and our environment. 

Regenerative agriculture is a broad term the way it is used today, but the essence of it is restoring health, fertility, and resilience to the land, and ending the harm caused by conventional agriculture.

Even if you don't care about the environment or other peoples health, you should be an advocate for better agricultural practices simply because it results in more flavorful food with higher nutritional value, and this will help you feel better, perform better, and build a better physique!
